Attention: Former KingSwim and SAALC employees - you may be entitled to back pay for Broken Shift Allowance

Former KingSwim and South Australia Aquatic and Leisure Centre (SAALC) employees who were employed between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2020 maybe entitled to back pay for Broken Shift Allowance. Why you may be eligible 

While the Fitness Industry Award, which defines pay and conditions, does not specify a requirement to pay casual staff the YMCA has recently made a decision to pay the entitlement to all eligible former permanent and casual employees. 

We believe this is the right thing to do.
